Military members nation-wide confront a multitude of problems during their careers, the last thing they need to worry about is their pet’s care during their service commitments. Dogs On Deployment is a 501(c)(3) national non-profit which provides an online network for service members to search for volunteers who are willing to board their pets during their owner’s service commitments. Dogs on Deployment promotes responsible, life-long pet ownership by military pet owners by advocating for military pet owner rights, providing educational resources and granting financial assistance for military pet owners during times of emergency. Dogs on Deployment has been such a blessing for me! Can't even explain! Has meant I get to keep my dog, rather than having to give him away when I joined the military. Boarders have been amazing to him (and I've gotten to meet some great people too!). Thank you so much for all you do!!

Our DOD dog Shera went home yesterday! We had her from Jan 18 - Aug 30. She was super excited to see her human again. We will miss her ????. We had a great experience with this organization. I tell everyone I meet about our experience and tell them to check it out.

We watched two wonderful little dogs for just under a month for a lovely family. They were a joy to have and we loved being able to be helpful for the family as well. So glad we have signed up to board here.
